
Dr Rajesh Elanchezhian

Dr. Rajesh Elanchezhian is a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) with a passion for providing comprehensive and compassionate medical care to patients of all ages. He holds a Diploma from the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. After completing his medical degree at Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University, India, in 2002, he moved to the UK for postgraduate training. There, he worked as a resident at Trafford General Hospital in Manchester and completed his foundation year training in 2006 at Medway Maritime Hospital, Kent, gaining experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, ENT, and Emergency Medicine.
In 2006, Dr Raj relocated to Australia to specialise in Emergency Medicine. He spent a year at Redcliffe Hospital before joining the Emergency Department at Gold Coast University Hospital in 2007. Throughout his training, he worked across various specialties, including Intensive Care Medicine, Anaesthetics, Paediatrics, General Medicine, and Orthopaedics.
In 2019, he earned his Diploma in Emergency Medicine from ACEM, Melbourne. Currently, Dr Raj works as a Visiting Medical Officer at Gold Coast Private Hospital’s Emergency Care Centre, where he continues to provide exceptional care to his patients.
