During a telehealth appointment, you can discuss your medical concerns with your health practitioner. This includes sharing your symptoms, past medical history and any health-related information to help your doctor understand your condition. Based on this, the medical practitioner will provide medical advice and may issue a Medical Certificate, Online Prescriptions, Specialist Referrals, Radiology & Pathology Referrals.

Yes, an AHPRA-accredited medical practitioner in Australia can issue instant scripts online if they comply with Australian legislation. If the doctor deems a prescription is necessary during the telehealth consultation, they will send it to you via SMS or EMAIL.
